Default Re: planning to move to AZ

Ed,

There are a few of us crazy enough to live in Phoenix! This time of year, we have daily monsoons...last night a storm rolled through dumping 2 1/2 inches of rain per hour on the city right next to where I live (they ended up getting almost 3 1/2 inches of rain...we ended up with less than one hundreth of an inch....go figure. Daily high temps are right at 100 degrees.

To buy in Scottsdale with what I envision that you're looking for would not be too different as far as the prices in DC. Houses in North Scottsdale routinely sell for 2 1/2 million plus for anything with land.

Northwest Peoria where I live is much more affordable, and you can get a custom house built for a million or less depending on the size.

PM me with what you're looking to find, and I can send photos of what's around me.
