When I got a new set of 5 repos for my car last year I did not leave the sticker on the spare. My memory seemed to be that they were not on them for the new cars I owned in the 60's and 70's. I did however get information from a fellow member on here about markings on his "untouched" spare for a very similar car to mine (you out there Tony
). I added those markings to mine.
You see the stickers all the time. People also on occasion ask me
"Where's the sticker on your apare tire?". I don't worry about it one way or the other if it's correct, just my preference.
