Default Re: Questions about SCR 8.

Excellent point, Clill. Lots of folks get intimidated by the whole formality of the drag strip, but we rented the track so folks could literally ease into it...heck, I was that way once, except I didn't have the luxury of a track rental to get acclimated...I had to cut my teeth on a No-E Saturday night bracket race with 100+ cars in the class!

Anyway, as hard as it is to understand without being there, what Clill says is right on...the entire event is VERY laid back. And if *anyone* is considering trying their hand at the track, but have some questions, or need assistance, PLEASE feel free to ask myself, or anyone of the other folks at the track. Several of the guys there know their way around, and would be more than happy to lend a hand...whether it be a walk through of the staging lanes, burnout box, the line & tree area, or even the turn offs and return road...do not hesitate to ask.
