I have a 5 megapixel camera...and I shoot the car pictures at 1M...download them into my computer via the USB cable in to an already created and named folder...then I create a thumbnail folder and open up EZ Thumbs software...it's free and available here :

It's an easy program to use...and you can batch process your photos...It will process about 50 pictures that were taken at 1M in less than a minute. You can set your DPI image size, etc. and see the preview of what it will look like in real time, in the preview window. It also has brightness and contrast settings that work in real time also. If you hover your mouse over the picture preview...it will also tell you the file size, so that you can make adjustments to the resolution so that it can be uploaded to the Y-Net without any problems.
You can't beat the price...it's free!
