Rich, I have to give you credit. Maybe you can sell some swamp land for me.

Well, I did sell a brick on ebay once for 50$!
(Battle of 1812, clay brick, they are everywhere here in the greater NO area. Got pos feedback too!)

It's actually not as bad as it looks (The Z). The Olympic Gold LM1 that we are doing is MUCH worse, although it looks great on the outside, it needs BOTH rockers, FULL floor, Both Wheel Wells (inner and outer), and a full trunk.

This Z, while she is butt ugly on the outside, is actually pretty good in the structural areas, rockers, floor pans (only 1 has some small holes) wheel wells, frame rails etc.

I don't know if the new owner is on this board, or just the camaros.net board, or both. But, if he wants to speak up, that's up to him.

There was some intense interest in this car. It is always interesting to see who gets involved in a potential sale, and then see the comments afterwards. Some people feel like they have to call and make neg comments, then make low-ball offers. Others, call after a deal is done, with the "I would have given you more" statements.

Bottom line to me, I bought the car to restore then resell. I just invested in a garage (Penn's Auto and Cajun Supercars) and have the time and manpower there to complete it at my leisure. I mentioned this on this site, and then several people started asking about buying the car before I restored it. Fair enough, so I threw out a number. That was a number that made it worth my while to not take on the project. I threw the number out and had the website with good pics up by 10:30pm or so (not hiding anything, all bad areas had DETAILED pics posted), and the car sold at 00:30 that same night.

New owners happy, I am happy, old owner is happy. Everyone wins. New owner had a 69 yellow Z in high school, now he has this one.

BTW- I was told that there is a yearly fee to be a member, I guess I paid a year ago and that subscription expired. This site is VERY much worth it, I just resubscribed.

Thanks,
Rich
