this link for some more info on the Hurst Jeepster Commando. I think it used the same scoop we see in the picture of Don's prototype Deuce, with the exception of the front opening remaining closed which is understandable considering Don's prototype Deuce was only a 250 6 cylinder.

There's got to be a catalog or something somewhere showing the manufacturer of this scoop. I doubt Don, Hurst, or AMC made it up. I'd bet a
it's a Dixco piece ultimately, made by the Dixson instrument company. Guess we'll have to wait until that piece of documentation pops up.
