Thanks for the info. I have heard the same thing. I just find it hard to believe that there is no a chemical that will dissolve the filler without touching the metal. Maybe the conduit is replaced because the cost is higher to remove the chico? I'm sure if a Hemi Cuda convertible was found and the original engine was filled they would find a way to remove it. Either way I believe a big block is steetable when filled as this one is. Besides, how many ZL1's get streeted around on a regular basis? .
