Default Re: Anybody thinking about buying a new ZO6 Corvette?

Good for you, Jeff. I have a Z51 C6 coupe and a convertible and can only imagine what 100 more HP and a much lighter total weight will mean for performance. In track like conditions, I've had the convertible C6 north of 180 MPH in 5th and it seemed to just kept crouching. As I recall, there was a Ferarri in the rear view mirror that morning too.

Polished wheels rock and the new body style will grow on you within the first hour of delivery. I'd ask Joe G to pick mine up for me at Paddock Chev in Kenmore, NY, but I've heard too much about his youthful street racing days in his Motion Chevelle

I can't even fathom how much fun that would be. My brother Gary...who has the Marina blue 1967 RS/SS 396 that was a Members Ride feature also has the 405HP version of the Z06 in Electron Blue...I've driven it twice...it's like two cars in one...a docile street car that gets relatively good MPG and performance...and then a balls to the wall race car when you want it to be.

Here's a few pictures of my brothers 2002 Z06
