Since there is no trace of the V8 VIN I would do what it takes to get it back where it belongs, on your car. That way the car is complete and correct.

As for turning it in to a Yenko clone, I think you are using the wrong car. If it was an original 6 cylinder car I could see that but using a true RS/SS to make a clone in my mind is wrong.

But hey, like they say it's your car do what you want with it.
