... ie.. there is one listed at TEAM CHEVELLE.. Marina Blue 66 SS Matching Numbers L-78.. Price = $25,000 Umm yeah, okay... so I tell my buddy, I am not even calling, b/c I know there is no way for $25K this is legit and the fact that it says it is a good car... so my bud calls and reports back to me the guy seems knowlegable and swears it is a 962 block, EG code and serial number matches VIN on door pillar too... then sends picture of the deck stamp... that's all I needed to see... not even close to what a 66 ATLANTA stamp looks like
Heck they made 3099 of them in 66.. but what few are left are not for sale.. I have actually seen more 67 L-78's change hands in the last 5 yrs then 66's and they only produced 612 of those
