Default Re: Happy Memorial Day

I have been lucky enough to travel around the world a few times during my time in the Air Force and have gotten to see many of the overseas cemetarys world wide. When you look out and see the acres of white crosses marking the final resting spot of those that put everything on hold so we today may enjoy the freedom that they fought for makes you wonder where they came from and what they did prior to joining the military. Then you think about those that never returned and are listed as MIA and have to think about their families as well. Here at Hickam we have the Army's Identification Lab where remains of ALL wars/conflicts are brought and Identification is made when possible. If your planning a trip to Oahu I would recommend taking time to visit the ID Lab for their tour.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all this service members and their familes on this National Holiday. A 2 Star sent me two links dealing with Memorial Day and I thought I would also post them here as well.
