There was no physical size/clearance differences between an L78, L72 or (to the best of my knowledge) a ZL1 motor, so the ZL2 hood (IMO) would not be installed to solve any clearance issues.


As far as the car being a COPO - it could be possible. You just know there have to be a few more out there hidden away in buildings or surrounded by vegetation.
