12bolt you hit the nail on the head with your posts. I've been in business 19 years and we price everything we sell. If a customer wants to make an offer after he knows the price, thats fair! But, expecting the buyer to make an offer first is ridiculous! If you don't want to do business that way....then walkaway politely.

Advice for what it's worth! When dealing with big ticket items, price it for sale a little higher than what your willing to take....duh! a buyer always feels better about the deal (and more importantly) and himself if you give some to. Who knows what the lowest price the seller would accept? Doesn't matter if buyer feels good!
