I doubt there was ever some minor damage done to this front end.The people I know who have seen this car in person would've spotted something like that.I remove the "SS" center emblem & the "Chevelle" emblem when I get my car ready for a show so maybe they've done similar.

They may not mean anything,as VOLO,NICAB,& Midwest Car Exchange here do that all the time.They sell a car,then the new owner says resell it for me.Who knows?

I don't know if Norwood & Van Nuys were the same as the other 7 Chevelle Plants,(Van Nuys did build Chevelles),but that style Smog tree falls into the correct timeline for this LS6.
From research I have gathered,January looks to be when the Hockey stick style tube was changed over to this Chevelles design,as well as the underlined "GH" ink stamp on the Diverter being changed over to a white circle decal with a red "GH" in it.
