Yes, it's a recreation. Clever wording, stating that "this is 1 of the 8", but it's definately a fake. It's also missing several key parts, namely the entire Ram Air setup.
Assuming this Bird actually started out life as a Firebird 400 and not a 350 powered car (about a 1 in 6 chance), 69 Trans Am's are pretty easy to clone. The wing, hood, and side scoops have been reproduced for several years now, but the reproduction pieces are VERY easy to spot. A template for the stripes, a little white paint, and reproduction Trans Am stickers, and you have a repro T/A.
