Carlisle...Overcast was how it started. I did end up with an excellent Corner/end of the Row Spot so the Car was under constant watch by everyone that went by. I never realized that a Car as Rare as these would have so Many "Experts" who know Everything about them! as I usually do in these types of Situations, I act like just another non chalont observer and listen as they Tell their girlfriend about why this Car should Have a Console and Hub Caps...etc. One guy who was really interested told me about his Pace Car Convertible he sold two years ago. according to Him It had a Factory 427 and Rear Disc Brakes!!! I even had an older guy reach down and start to stroke the Endura Bumper. when he started to knock on it, I offered for him to feel the sole of My shoe in his A$$ as it too is made of Rubber! and of course I did meet a Few real good Folks as well. Site Member "Scott S." snuck up and asked if I would be interested in a Trade with a Yenko Deuce! I immediately knew he had to belong to this Forum and of course he does!! Real Nice Guy. I was amazed at the amount of attention the Car received. It was the Only COPO Camaro in attendance. over and over I kept hearing, "I've never seen one in person" and comments to that extent. More Cell phones took pictures of that Car today than did regular cameras. now I know times are changing!! I met another guy from Frederick Md. who is trying to get his Car certified. I had all my Documents with me and helped discuss some untried strategies with him. I hope it works out for him. But unfortunately, The Weather did not hold and the skies opened up at 6:30. I decided it was time to Pack it up and head home as Tomorrows Forecast is for Thunderstorms thruout the day. I was really looking forward to a Nice weekend out there as I need a Weekend away from Work. Carlisle in good weather is hard to beat! but there are plenty more events coming up! I hope to see some more of you at them.
