I have bought a '65 that I had been chasing for over 10 yrs so the '60 that I just bought is for sale.Looks like an original 270hp car, unhit body with great fit,2 tops, original T10 tranny. The frame does have some rust on it though that will need repair.
The interior is in very nice shape. The dash pad has no tear or rips. The door panels are in very nice shape including the original stainless door trim. The seat covers are in very nice shape even though they looked to be covered right over the original red seat covers.(I believe from everything that see on the car that car was originally black with red interior). All of the original gauges are intact and look to be in very good shape. The original wonderbar radio is still in the car.
The car appears to be an original 270hp car according to the high redline tachometer and original 110891 distributor dated correctly for this early production '60 model. The engine in the car appears to be the original one to the car with a correctly dated 3756519 block.Although the block appears to have been decked at one one time as there are no readable numbers on the pad.The car came with an extra vintage edelbrock tripower setup that was previously on the car.Currently on the motor is a single four barrel manifold from a '57.
The body on this car appears to be unhit and has very good body fit for a straight axle car.The chrome and stainless is in decent condition. The soft top appears to be original to the car and is actually in very nice shape. The hardtop is in nice condition but I think it is from an earlier car as the headliner looks like one I had on my '57 that I had a few years back.
This car has a ton of potential but will need to be restored.I am attaching some more pictures that I just took after hosing off the many years of dirt.Let me know if I can answer any questions for you. $25k
