The VIN code should be 10Wxxxxxx with the "0" being for the 1970 model year, not date. A "9" there would indicate a 1969 model. Something is screwy with that one.

Allen, you beat me to it. I was just scrolling down to the bottom of the thread to post that. Still a nice looking car, just don't pay for it being a numbers car. It does make you wonder what else is phony on it, though
