Default Re: Body Shops

The first thing that come to my mind is the "good enough" mentality...Hey this is good enough for now, someone else has to finish it anyway..Right? Wrong! It is very difficult to get some one to do only half or part of a job and stop. They don't have to deal with the finished product now or maybe ever...Sad to say ...I'd rather see full NOS qtrs put on the right way.If done correctly it wont be an issue. Here's where a top notch resto body shop is necessary. They need to take the time to put back in all the flaws and welds that were there from GM.Correct joints, spot welds and seam finishing can be done. Most body shops opt for the body filler everywhere and the "show car" installation. If the qtrs on the car are factory, all this info is there....do your homework.Good luck on what you decide.....
