Sorry, missed the part about "how bad is the DY LS6". Actually, the car is super solid and mostly complete. It does have 111,000 miles on it, so it is a tired ol' gal. The usual stuff has been changed underhood like the starter, alt, distributor, water pump etc., but all the critical drivetrain components are there. The right front fender has a tear in it that I don't want to patch (don't want any chance of bubbles or cracking in the future), so I bought an NOS fender. I originally thought the quarters needed replaced because of "cut wheel lips", but they were actually rolled up and will easily roll back down again - so quarters aren't needed. Not a spec of rust under the car or on the chassis. It's really just a matter of restoring and replacing parts to bring it back to "as new" condition.
