Default Re: 9737 sway bar diameter

Thanks to all for clearing that up. I just realized that I inadvertantly and indirectly misquoted Ed Cunneen when I started this thread. That was certainly not my intent. This is how baseless rumors get started. Hopefully, anyone who sees this will follow the thread and see the correction. I have emailed the fellow who gave me the misinformation and directed him to this thread. I am sure it was an honest mistake.

Stefano, I have the bar, both dammpers, which have never been removed that I can tell, the brackets for the frame with the original rubber bushings. The bushings are pretty shot. I bought some "NOS" 13/16 bushings a couple of years ago on ebay. They are 13/16 id, but much too tall. Obviously not the correct bushings for this application. Could be used if you cut them down with a band saw. I would cut them down, but don't want to be accused of msileading anyone. One of the mounting brackets is slightly bent. Again, I am leaving as is, but disclosing.

I would like $350 for all of it. An NOS bar recently brought $600 on ebay. I realize mine is not NOS, but then how much does a sway bar wear? I agree $350 sounds high, but with the prices of these cars as they are, prices of the parts are getting ridiculous. I turned down $1200 for a pair of NOS roof rail weatherstrips (sorry still not for sale).

I am new to this board, so I hope I am not violating any rule by stating my selling price. Just answering Stefano's question.

Thanks to all for a great board.
