It's been brought to my attention by DaveC68 that discussion is occuring. Let me set the record straight! We looked at the car a year before I bought it under a cover. When I went back to look at the car again it was in a small garage. After looking at the car there was mice living under the hood, it had numerous dents, dings and scratches on the paint. After purchasing the car, I fixed the gas lines that leaked, put a full exhaust on since that was a missing component of the car. After getting the car running and racing it a few times at Atco, the car ran well but I wanted something for my lovely wife to drive on the street. When I sold the car to Don as far as I know he did the restoration on the car. It really did have approx.3000 miles. I still have the my original photos of the car as I raced it and drove it (with WELD wheels). So Iwas the one that found it and sold it to Don and the rest is history. But there was never mentioned about Jenkins having had anything to do with this car when I bought it.
