Re: Continued discussion: 70z
Geoff Stunkard talked to the original owner of the car before he published the article. I bought the car because it had 3600 miles and reminded much of the same type of restoration that was done to my former yellow Yenko that i got from Bryan. Don white did a great job and should have been mentioned in the article, i thought. I don't think Geoff Stunkard knew Don. Geoff couldn't dream up such a story. The only thing i really car about is what Don said aout it being a real 3600 mile running SOB.It must have some legitimacy as Don and Patrick have wanted to buy it back. I enjoy the car and could not find a better example of a 70 1/2 car whether the history is clearly defined or not. Mike i just responded to Bob's post of the cars i owned and described the car as it was sold to me by Patrick Joyner who got it from Kenny Pascoe who got it from Don. Who care's? Don you did a great job on the car and Geoff did a great article based on his conversation with the original owner . I do have the build sheet, Signed affidavit by original owner John P Bogacki jr.,notarized with protect o plate still attached to warranty book, sold from Lanzalotti Motor Co., Williamstown, N.J., and i have also spoken to the original owner and confirmed the history of which i was told and read in MCR. I can only go by what i was told. If this story was made up then i agree with Troy. I never expected a post that asks me about my current cars to go south. Let's just move forward, positively. I don't care, I LOVE the car!
