Default Re: 1963 Austin Healey MKII

Just went over there and brought someone for a second opinion. The floor, boxes and entire car is virtually rust free. There is one spot, on the pass side in front of the tire, on the door, that has a little bondo, but the job looks good. The battery is mounted in the trunk. The car actually has a ford 302 rather than a chevy 350. Runs great.
I am strictly looking at this car as a reseller rather than a keeper. The interior is in good servicable condition. It was just moved "outside" a week or so ago after being inside since 1999. It does have some moisture on the floorboards, so again, if it is not worked with soon, it will probably become a basket case.
Oh, someone asked about making sure that is it not the "sprite" model. It is a Austin Healey 3000 Mark II. It has the tags riveted on the firewall, both an AH and a Serial Number tag.
