If I understand correctly, the Gold (pictured) Monte Carlo is a BB with 4-speed. In looking at the pictures, it appears to be an SS454 based on the fender enblem, dual exhaust and possible horizontal rubber rear bumper strip (can't tell for sure). At any rate, what you are saying is that car has the 4-speed? I would love to hear more about it. It is a well known fact that you could get a 402 4-speed Monte but I have never been able to find a real SS454 4-speed car which is really odd as you would think it would be a natural. Tell us more.
