Dave, Your "Champagne Gold" Monte Carlo is really nice. It looks very similiar to a "Triple Gold" one that I once owned. In 1994, I purchased mine from a 72 year old women, who owned it for 24 years. In the spring of 1970, her nephew drove this car to her house to have lunch with her. He was a new car salesman and it was a "demo". She fell in love with it and it was sold to her. I promised the women that I would return to her house after I restored the car. Six months later, I went to her house. She came outside and tears rolled down her face. She was so happy to see her "Goldie" looking like new again. It was a great moment. After owning it for more than eight years, I ended up selling the car to a local hardcore drag racer. The car is now "tubbed", "caged" and has a 800 horsepower big block in it. The car went from being 100% stock to a rear bumper scraping monster! I sold the car to purchase a 1979 Camaro Z28 that was in my neighborhood since new and that I always wanted to own.

Nick....
