My `70 Chevelle dash is showing it`s age, it appears the previous owner attempted to touch up the silver highlights and missed on a few dabs and got the paint on the black "Leather Grain" dash itself. Any way to get this off without ruining or "melting" the plastic as can be done with thinners? This being on an original SS396 Convt. Any leads on anyone who restores the dash (Housing) please let me know. Unfortunately the radio holes were opened up a little
, luckily you can`t notice when the stock radio is installed
. Anyone have any luck with the aftermarket dash?
Do they line up and fit correctly? I was thinking of putting one in and keeping the original.
I drive this car, it`s what they were made for.
