Pretty cool car. I thought it was a cool idea to build a car like that but I agree it could look a little more period correct under the hood for maximum effect. But I guess if you went that far to make it look that close to the real thing you would probably have yourself a race car and want to hit the track with it.
We all have our limits to how far we go with a car.
