Racefan, As was noted earlier, these cars were ordered in batches but not converted until sold. The '67 & '68 Yenko cars had a much larger variety of dealer installed items available, so it made sense to wait until the car was spoken for before converting it. The '69's are COPO's, and obviously have the 427 factory installed, however, those that are sold out of Yenko are usually different in some way. When we find a unique Yenko car, odds are that it was sold new at Yenko - they didn't seem to worry about the warranty issue as much.

So, there shouldn't be any consistent logic to the YS# compared to the VIN, Body or Build #'s.
