Yes that is a photo of Tom Jones. If you look closely in the upper right corner you can see the actor (I cant think of his name) who at the time played the principal on "Room 222", He more recently played the father in "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". Back in late 50 to early 70s, my grandfather Simon was VP of ABC television. My grandmother was one of those devout corporate wives who was the consummate entertainer. Her dinner parties were famous! We have some amazing photos of them with all sorts of interesting people. I have a whole series of them with JFK and Jackie and Dick Nixon from the 1960 Presidential debates, as well as Whitehouse photos with Truman, JFK and Nixon. They used to go to all of the Olympics when ABC did the coverage. At Grandma Rose's funeral, my Aunt regaled us with a famous story of my grandmother's wit and manners: It seemed that my grandfather was the "money man" at ABC, so all the hollywood starlets would gravitate toward him at dinner parties like a little harem. At one occasion in NYC in the late 60's a georgous blonde came running across the room and lept in the air and jumped onto my grandfather, straddling her legs around him midsection while yelling "thank you, thank you". It seems she had just gotten some movie part and thought he had some pull in getting her the part. My aunt then told us who that blonde was: SHARON TATE! (the starlot who later became a Charles Manson victim) The lesson: Never mess with Grandma Rose.
Well anyway I could probably fill an entire website with the photos of those two. Definitely neat people
