All COPO VINs are not known. I know one REAL COPO Chevelle stored away and the owner hasn't released the numbers to anyone. If the above car was converted from a Malibu, then a lot of side trim had to have been changed. That might be a little harder to hide. A check under the heater box might turn up some interesting numbers too. Another thing that I noticed was the price of the 9562 COPO option. Our 9566AA was $649. Guess I got a bargain.

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.
