Default Re: Cougar XR7 convertible with "Factory Roll Bar"

I emailed some of the guys on the mercury cougar website...and they don't think the roll bar was a factory item...but it did come with a 4 speed and 351 "M" code motor
...which they said that
..."There were 47 1971 XR7 convertibles with 4 speed behind the 351-4V."
...so it is a pretty rare car
...The owner is asking $4900 and it needs some restoration...
...( new top. new interior, paint and other detailing)
....if anyone is interested ...email me and I will give you the phone number....I listed it on this web site
