From what I've read, Matt contacted car owners and told them he had a buyer and asked them if they wanted sell and maybe talked them into selling. Now Matt isn't happy the buyer isn't interested.
I have never delt with an auto broker but have for realestate. If you are going to be a broker, you have to deal with not getting paid directly for a lot of the footwork you do. The payoff is structured such that when you make a sale the commision covers all the efforts prior to that point. If you can't accept the fact that not everyone that you come in contact with will result in a sale and you feel the effort was for nothing you need to get out of sales and get a job that pays by the hour.
