Default Re: Any estimate on what 67 Camaro L78 SS396 is worth?

I Thought this was kinda neat.
While driving by a local house last year,I saw a garage door open with a 1967 Camaro taillights & panel showing.I made a note to come back later and inquire.I did & there was no one home.I did this a few times, and got tired of knocking on his door, with no answer.
Fast forward to One year later,I just drove by his house recently, and the garage door was open.I made a screeeeeeeeeching STOP!..,and backed up to talk to him.
He said he bought this 1967 Camaro brand new from a Chicago area Chevy dealer,Nickey/Brigance/Fencl? ,after coming home from Vietnam. He has saved all the docs and "Extra" parts for it throughout the years. It is not an Z28,SS or BB Car,just a nice 327 small block 67 Camaro Hardtop. He must be about 65 years old,and said he would like to freshen it up someday,It's not for sale at any price. It sentimental value to him alone,is priceless. He took my number, for when he decides to open the garage again & start it finally,it has been sitting awhile. He says it has alot of period after market parts on it,but I couldn't get in that far to see them.I hope he calls,as I would love to see more of it.
Nice to see some of these original owners still tucked away out there.
