That's still an F-n' big spider!
Kind of reminds me of the night my Ex and I left her mothers house and pulled out and started up the road just to see this monstrosity crossing the road in the headlights.. I was only up to about 25mph so I hit the brakes and quickly backed up over it (not with the tires).. and got this thing in the headlights.. We got out and walked around the front to about within 5 feet of this beast as it just kept mozying on across the road about to the center line... I had never seen anything like it in the wild before! My Ex-wife and I stood there jaw-dropped as we watched the biggest, blackest, harriest Trantula Spider we'd ever seen just kept on walking toward me! This thing stood 6" tall and 10" across at least!! After a few "jesus H's" and some cuss words we got back in the truck and I backed up a few feet and attempted to squish it with the tire (but I think I missed it) as I drove on just so it didn't end up in someones back yard and eat their pet or something as it was heading for the neigbhorhood.. Man that was a sight!
