I've often wondered what salesmen did when you asked to lift the hood on one of those 'glass hood cars back when they were new on the lot. I can imagine him saying "hey, gimme a hand with this" and then trying to hang onto it by the hoodscoop while the wind begins to blow.
You don't see too many lift off hood cars w/o a vinyl roof, I suppose that's because the vinyl covered top made a good resting spot for the hood. I like it plain though, a strictly business look for sure.
