Default Re: 1969 Yenko SC427 Nova

Charley,
I know as much as you do about the car, but, ya never know until you look. Considering how few were made odds are against it being real, but then again it woundnt be the first time we have seen a real car with incorrect parts and restoration processes. I think if I was standing there I would find it hard to walk away without checking the VIN and other details that arent held on by a wing nut. Charley, I think maybe you are old enough to remember when we had these cars new usually the first thing to land in the trash was the stock air cleaner, do any of the surviving documented 69 SC Nova's even have the original engine, be it the factory installed or Yenko installed? It is amazing any of the most powerful muscle cars even exist today considering how bad they were trashed and thrashed over the years, I remember running the back dirt roads in Michigan in a dual four 426 Hemi Charger throwing beer cans at signs. Then some eco freak got the idea of returnables and ruined all the fun..........................
