IF YOU ARE ON A BUDGET, BUYING AN OLD CAR THAT NEEDS RESTORATION DOES NOT MAKE MUCH SENSE WHEN YOU ALREADY HAVE SUCH A NICE CAR TO BUILD ON. THROW A COUPLE THOUSAND DOLLARS INTO A 350 AND YOU WILL HAVE A STRONG, GOOD-LOOKING CAR.

[/ QUOTE ]I'm with Mike on that one. Heck even 350 crate motors are getting relatively inexpensive. You've already got the cosmetic part done. Adding more power is the relatively simple part. (Although I'd hesitate dropping one dime into the 305.)
