Joe Conte asked me to kinda clear-up this post, so he won't be inundated with needless questions.
When Joe told me he hadn't thought about selling the '64 GTO until about 6 months ago, I mentioned that he must've been offered about $60K for it. Joe said it was more. I
assumed that he meant 6-months ago.
When I mentioned Barrett-Jackson to him, he agreed that it would be a great venue should he decide to sell. And since he had obviously turned-down OVER $60K, I wrote that he was "looking more toward $100K".
Joe is not looking for $100K -- I merely
mentioned that he'd be looking for more $$ than 60 thousand, or "more toward $100K" But those were MY words, not his.
