Excellent point Charlie. The dealer I bought my 67 RS from had a survivor 68 SS-RS 396 Convertible that sold days before I called on my RS. The seller just wanted to get rid of it and move on. At the time it wasn't even running, but the buyer had it running within hours of towing it home. If only I had called a week earlier, I'd have that car today. Btw, the guy who owned my 67 RS, also had a super clean 96 Mustang Cobra. He traded them both in to the same dealer and went and bought an Acura SUV. I know he could've got much more than he did if he sold them on his own, but he just didn't want to deal with the tire kickers.
