Default Re: Site with some good parts

[ QUOTE ]
A friend who live within 10 miles contacted him via email and he refuses to do any over the counter sales for security reasons. Meaning he will NOT meet with anyone, he will only deal through the mail.

[/ QUOTE ] "Security reasons" sounds more like, "you mail me the money, and I'll make sure I'm 'securely' in the other side of the country by the time you track me down." Anyone who refuses to allow someone to come and inspect or pick up their parts in person usually has something to hide. And if this guy is so into shipping his stuff, why wouldn't he just list his parts on ebay and let it all go to the highest bidder? I'm sure he'd do alot better than his asking prices. It's very possible that this is just some shady character with a bunch of old ebay auction pics saved on his hard drive that he e-mails out when fishing for suckers. Who hoards all these NOS parts and doesn't know their value? I'd love to hear from someone who's actually sucessfully purchased something from him. If I was the one who just mailed out $500 for the NOS endura, I'd sure be keeping my fingers crossed. I wouldn't be surprised if there were several people sending their money for this NOS endura already, since it probably doesn't exist anyhow why not sell it twice. This deal has "bad idea" written all over it IMO.
