The 1/4's were replaced with NOS pieces on my car and all the factory welds have been duplicated throughout the resto process. When finished, it will certainly be over-restored, but that's my personal preference. I was not interested in duplicating assembly line type quality, I do however recognize that some people like the orange peel and oversprayed paint.
