69 Camaro Dash?
This is more for my personal knowledge rather than anything specific I am working on, as I am now into Chevelles.
My understanding with the 69 Camaro Interiors is the following:
1) - Standard interior got the "non woodgrain" dash applique across the bottom drivers side where the various switches are located.
2) - Deluxe interior got "woodgrain" in this same location together with "woodgrain" in the glove box area.
3) - Standard interior with console and gauges got the "woodgrain" in the console and in the lower drivers side dash area, but nowhere else on the dash.
This has come up when I look at the interior shots of Jim Mattison's COPO in another thread on here. That car has the console and gauges with the woodgrain on the console, yet no woodgrain on the drivers side lower dash. The 69 SS I did up years ago had the standard interior, console, gauges and had the woodgrain on the console and on the lower drivers side dash. I believe that car was a 3/69 built Norwood car while Jim's is a 6/69 Norwood car.
Just thinking out loud I guess and wondering. Anybody got the correct scoop here? Appreciate it.
