Well, if they actually purchased the car, then saying they are representing the car as it was purchased is still fraudulent. If they have it on consignment, then they can make up anything they want since it's not their car and they're not responsible for verifying the authenticity. All it takes is 1 person to point out the AC valve bracket and they now know it's not a real, number's matching COPO and can no longer present it as such. Did anyone point that out to them? These dealers need to be held responsible when they misrepresent a car. What exactly is the service they are offering when they put a bogus car up for sale? I'm not referring to all classic car dealers, I'm referring to the ones that are knowingly selling fakes.
