I would agree with Keith on the "Bank" notation,but the C-2 could be similar to the stamping I find on Trunk shelfs.
If you pop your Trunk lid,6 inches to the right of the latch mechanism on the high shelf,not the trunk floor, is an upside code.
Mine says "C-27" and is a Oct 69 Leeds Car.
I have seen almost all GM cars with a similar code,not just Chevelles.
