Default Re: Atlantic City Auction

Kurt; I didn't fall off the turnip truck last night. I look at a lot of cars, as I buy them for some Serious Collectors. How many cut up race cars with no interiors and alluminum dashes have you seen!! How many cars have had the dashes cut out by amateurs , to replace them and they threw the dash out with the vin plate. You can check with the couple of companies that repro them, as to how many request they get weekly. Maybe you can join us in places like Atlantic City , Scottsdale, Monterey, or the other high end auctions and view these cars in person. Come to Carlise, Charlotte, Daytona, This type of car surfaces there too. Just my two cents. Remember the phrase " Sooner Or Later Everone Drives a plater" Dont think that doesn't apply to these cars. There are plenty of rebodies out there and you know it.In a world where you can buy trim tags, build sheets, and combos including the #s block on places like E-bay. don't think people aren't making money. I am clearly making No Statement about the Orange car except the vin" looked funny ". Jim
