Thanks Troy, if it were someone famous like Grumpy Jenkins with a white car, I would've painted it white with the Grump's name for sure. But I felt this was an unknown private racer that chose to re-paint it a different color, and put his name all over the car. So, it was a toss-up between restoring it to the original factory Hugger Orange, or to the white color it was in the magazine photo. Since the key historical items to me were how the car left GM and what Motion Performance did to it, I chose to go that way; and not to how the private owners modified it afterwards.
