Default Re: 1969 Baldwin Motion Conversion?

Naturally, the mystique and key for any Motion Car whether it is from Baldwin or others, is that it was performance modified by Motion. A car that was merely sold by Baldwin without being modified by Motion was just another ordinary car. To answer the specific question; yes, a street car sold through Baldwin and modified by Motion is more valuable than a car from another dealer and then modified by Motion.

This ZL/X MOTION Camaro is in a different arena. You can't ignore the fact that this is a ZL/X 427 Phase III 427 with Tunnel Ram and dual 1050 CFM Holley's, which is not something that your average guy off the street would order at Baldwin and drive home. A car such as this that was trailered to Motion by a Racer, for Super Stock Modified Production racing as the story tells in CARS magazine; is in a different market altogether.

Now you can probably guess the new owner.
