I was at Limerock for the historic racing a couple of years ago. There was this guy there who had a '34 Monza that was one of the cars from the Scuddaria Ferrari race shop. (this is what Enzo did before he stared building them on his own) The car had been stored in a mine in Norway during WWII to keep it safe. The car was I believe unrestored and in beautiful shape. This guy had found the car over seas and now was racing it.
He was consistantly leading his class the whole weekend. He was really pushing this 70 year old car. When I asked him if he was worried about possibly injuring the car while racing he replied 'racing is what this car was build for'.
I was quite impressed with his answer beacause his car is worth between 3 and 4 million dollars. [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/shocked.gif[/img]
