COPO build groups, by VIN or body number?
How are most of the 69 COPO Camaros grouped together, within VIN ranges or within body number ranges? I noticed from looking at the Copo Connection a lot of pretty tight VIN groupings. Did Chevrolet pull aside groups of sequential Camaros to be turned into 427 cars or was it scattered around which bodies were selected? Also, how many cars were usually grouped together, 25, 50, 100? Are there known consecutive VIN COPO's? I keep reading about people asking if a VIN falls in a known range, does anyone have this list of known ranges?
